During that time he has experienced an exceptional rate of success, having won millions of dollars in funding for a wide range of projects in the areas of homeland security, public safety, fire, code enforcement, economic development, environmental protection, revolving loan programs, recreation, technology, youth crime prevention, education and historic preservation. He has been particularly successful with EPA Brownfields programs and Department of Defense scientific grants for colleges and universities, for which he has a 100 percent award rate. He has worked on behalf of dozens of cities, counties, special districts and community-based organizations throughout the nation, and particularly California. Prior to grant writing and consulting, he was an educator at Lake Arrowhead Christian School, teaching U.S. history, government & economics, geography and mathematics. He was also a leader in after-school programs. Chris holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science from California State University, San Bernardino, and is involved as a volunteer with several 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations including the C.S.
